Trip Overview

Mera Peak is one of the most popular of Nepal’s 18 “Trekking peak”. From the trekker, the walk from Lukla through the Sherpa country of the remote Inkhu valley is an unforgettable experience, offering superb scenery, and abundant wildlife including rumored sights of the legendary yeti. About 700 visitors climb the 6654m. As we make our way back down the valley to Lukla for our flight back to Kathmandu, you will have completed a demanding trek to achieve the summit of one of the more beautiful mountains in Nepal. Mera peak each year, an achievement that requires for mountaineering skills and a special permit from the Nepal Mountaineering Association.



Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 2 : Sightseeing / Cultural Day In Kathmandu

Day 3 : Fly to Lukla and trek to Chutok La pass

Day 4 : Pangkongma (2,846m)

Day 5 : Nashing Dingma (2,600m)

Day 6 : Chalem Kharka (3,600m)

Day 7 : Chunbu Kharka (4,200m)

Day 8 : Rest day at Chunbu Kharka

Day 9 : Descent into the Hinku Valley

Day 10 : Tangnag (4,360m)

Day 11 : Dig Kharka (4,650m)

Day 12 : Khare (5,100m)

Day 13 : Mera Peak base camp (5,300m)

Day 14 : Acclimatisation at Mera Peak Base camp

Day 15 : Mera Peak Ascent (6,476m/21,246ft)

Day 16 : Extra day

Day 17 : Trek back to Thangnak

Day 18 : Tashing Dingma

Day 19 : Chetava Kharka

Day 20 : Chuthangma

Day 21 : Drive to Kathmandu

Day 22 : Trek to Lukla

Day 23 : Fly back to Kathmandu, stay overnight at hotel
